About Dixie
Because I've painted for so long (45 + years) and I'm self taught I've learned a lot of the tips and tricks along the way to make a painting look professional. I think people like my painting because I'm very creative and paint on many different surfaces. Rocks, Canvas, Clothing, Garage Doors, Walls, Tile, Glass, Metal, Murals... Basically, if it has a surface I look for something to paint on it.

I really like the looks of satisfaction when my students finish something they painted. "I can't believe I really painted that". I enjoy teaching the tips and tricks I've learned that make painting much easier. One gal keeps saying, "I didn't think I could paint this, but when I got done I was so proud of myself and I really like it."
I've been painting for 45 years. I've been the top seller in some craft shows. I'm mostly self taught and learned through my mistakes. Painting can be very rewarding!
