I saw Elaine’s still life paintings in the Millworks gallery and was smitten! Although I was unable to attend Elaine’s workshops, she was gracious enough to do private lessons for me. Her detailed teaching was thorough and enabled me to paint in her beautiful style. She gave invaluable tips on supplies, technique, and framing. I could not have been more pleased. The result of lessons w/ Elaine far exceeded my expectations.

The challenge to grasp her teachings and apply it in my painting is gratifying. If I find myself struggling, she patiently works with me so I am able to understand and resolve the issue. At the end of each session, I leave the studio feeling like I have learned the secrets of the "masters". She has unlimited patience. After seeing her finished paintings, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from her and hone my own skills. As a self-taught artist, the knowledge she has shared with me has increased my desire to continue with my painting journey. After several lessons, I've completed my first painting applying what Elaine has taught me. I am thrilled with the finished product. My painting looks like a masterpiece!
