About Chloe
Next fall I will be pursuing a doctorate degree so that I can go into teaching (so yes, I love to teach!). I was a biology tutor at the University of New Hampshire and have worked with younger children in the past. I believe that I can help students because I can present material in a way they learn best, whether it be visually, hands-on, through diagrams, and more. My goal is not to make students memorize content for tests, but to actually learn new concepts and become interested in them!
I always feel immense joy when I see my students make a break-through in their learning. From understanding multiplication to completing an anaerobic glycolysis table, there is always a very distinct look on a student's face when they realize they are capable of something that once gave them worry.
I am currently a senior at the University of New Hampshire, dual majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Fine Art. I have tutored Biology to college students for about a year. In that year I attended weekly strategy meetings where my fellow tutors and I learned the best techniques to help us deliver information.

When working with a student for the first time I like to get to know their learning style. As someone who used to struggle in school, I am very capable of presenting material in a way that is best suited for the student (ie. visual, hands-on, demonstrations, video, etc).
