About Faris
I enjoy teaching all art from drawing to painting to sculpting. Art seems like some monolithlic entity to the uninitiated but I've been passionately on my art journey for nearly fifteen years and going. I love teaching art almost as much as I love producing it and am happy to explain its techniques in an easy to understand manner to beginners and intermediates. I also would love to debate different processes with experts.
Proficient in calligraphy, pen and ink, charcoal, graphite, sculpting, oil painting, watercolor (my unique process), acrylic, prismacolor, multi media etc.
Closely studied with award winning artists for five years
Won best of State in painting category of Eccles art competion in 2017

Faris is an excellent teacher who is clearly a skilled and passionate artist. He is endlessly patient and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He has made oil painting and drawing accessible and very enjoyable! I have taken many lessons from him and cant reccomend them enough!
