About Nick
I am a current mfa candidate at The New York Studio School of drawing and painting. I have past experience as a high school art teacher as well as expirience teaching in a less formal setting. My work as well as my teaching is focused primarily on working from life. If you’re looking to expand your skill in painting, drawing, or sculpting representationally (ie: still life, portraiture, and landscape) I’d love to work with you
I began teaching in a casual paint and sip studio, eventually teaching in a high school setting.
I have a bfa in painting and sculpture from Wright State University.

I like to jump right in with students and begin with a quick project so I can assess what they already know. This allows me to cater future lessons to the individual student. As students progress I try to connect them with great painters throughout time in order to foster personal growth in the greater context of art.
I have worked with a wide variety of students in a wide range of skill levels and ages.
