About Dolores
I have been trying any and all art since I was a little girl. Alcohol inks, watercolor, acrylics, jewelry making, pottery art, painting on clothes, murals, photography, you name it. Love teaching and see someone get that spark, that smile from trying something new and loving it.
I have been teaching for the last 10 years from Hawaii, California to Missouri. I am patient and have a since of humor. If you can't laugh at your self who can you laugh at. There is so much JOY in creating
I was a hair stylist for over 30 years and owned my own business. I specialized in brides, makeup, and color. It was a very creative field but I was always painting or creating something on the side. I just needed more. Creating and teaching filled that void.
The joy a person gets from the creative process is so fulfilling. I have had a 77 year old man never do any art of any kind do so well that even he was amazed. He tapped into that part of his brain and was just waiting to come out. The smiles, and seeing the look on their face when they realize they can do it.
I have been doing art since I was a little girl. I have taken lots of art classes over the years, but feel like I am mostly self taught. I have sold a lot of my art, and hang in Art Galleries. I started teaching for the last 15 years. I love it
