About Shavanae
To be honest, I have not taught a painting class before, but it has been something I'm eager to do for future. I've taught the art of filmining to children from the ages of 8 - 14 at Featherstone Center for the Arts, Summer video camp for 6 years and it has been a joy.
I've been an artist my entire life but I've been a portrait artist for the past 6 years. My mediums include but at not limited to: drawing ( colored pencils and markers), painting (preferrably oil), mixed media.
Each curriculum is tailored to fit a specific student's or group's needs, interests, and skill level. All are welcome!
What I enjoy most about what I do, is that I've seen how art therapy has helped myself and I want to pass this on to those who are willing to learn. I love seeing people of all ages discover a new talent and are eager to learn about oil painting and drawing. Art teached your discipline, creativity and paitience. The ability to make/express art is truly a wonderful thing.
I am a new teacher.
