About Heather
I have enjoyed art most of my life that was a God-given talent in a wide variety of areas ranging from acrylic painting, watercolor, pencil, and crafting, but I specialize in acrylics, although I would enjoy helping anyone with the other categories too. My business is faith-based so I prefer not to create anything disrespectful to our Creator or anyone else. Art is very relaxing and a skill I believe most people underestimate themselves in and I love helping others feel comfortable and confident. You don't have to be great to start something, you just have to start to be great in whatever you're seeking, like art for instance! You can follow me on FaceBook under Art & Soul with Heather or watch my free tutorials on YouTube, also under Art & Soul with Heather.
(concealed information)
It brings peace, it forces me to slow down in life and realize how I need to be patient with not just life, but art! Why rush a good time?

I like to get to know the background of the student, learn what they enjoy or find themselves doing most in art, like painting, drawing, doodling, etc. and understand a basic foundation what their current skills are and what they hope to achieve.
Have a sit-down with the instructor first. I'm also a Master (Personal) Trainer and I encourage my clients to do the same; sit and discuss goals, concerns, areas of interest, struggles, even areas with strength, all to make a better team no matter what is being taught so that the individual has a better experience and walks away with not just skills, but comfort and confidence.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How in depth do they want to go, what kind of time should they invest, and how much should they invest in supplies.
