About Susan
I teach children and adult beginners oil painting on canvas. I only accept 4 students per class so each student receives individual attention.
I've always loved to draw and paint. Art has always been a big part of my life but has developed into a career choice since I began painting and teaching Professionally back in 2004. The most fulfilling aspect is teaching children and help them develope their creative talents.

I always begin the first class with basic techniques in painting objects and perspectives as they begin their first still life oil painting. Basic sketching practices are also introduced as they have to plan their painting as well.
