About Mark
- Taught High Science for 30 years: Biology 1& 2, Chemistry 1 & 2, Physics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Physical, and Science General Science.
- I was an adjunct teacher for Garden City Community College for more than 20 of those years.: General Chemistry, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
- Current Kansas Teaching Certificates: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, General Science, and English as Second Language (ESL).
- I have been a member of our towns City Council for 20 years, and the Mayor for the last 10 years.
- I enjoy dogs, fishing, hunting and vegetable gardening.

I enjoy helping students achieve their goals. I understand the frustration of science. Many "scientists" have a great knowledge of science, but lack the understading of working with those that struggle with science. I have spent 30 years teaching in the public school setting. I am looking for a more personal setting. It is difficult for an entire class to be at the same point of understanding. There is only one teacher, and many stufents. I would like to help YOU understand.

Mr. Larkin was one of the best science teachers I’ve ever had. I liked working with him because he took the time to thoroughly explain things. He could help you understand what he was teaching by having hands on experience he also had great analogy’s to go with his teachings to help you understand better.
Larkin, is an amazing teacher. He always made sure I understood the material. There was never any time I felt like my questions weren’t valued. He cares very deeply about his students and loves to see them succeed.
