About Tracy
I've enjoyed teaching piano, theory and technique for over 20 years. I specialize in beginner-late intermediate level players. My students have consistently placed a score of 90 or higher on the ISMTA's Achievement in Music Exam.
I enjoy seeing the look on a child's face when they finally accomplish their goals!
My piano teacher suggested I give it a try with one of her beginners and I was hooked!
I have taught beginners-late intermediate for 20 years.

First I conduct a complimentary interview where I get to hear the potential student play and then they get a chance to know me to see if there is a fit. At that one I also review my studio policy with the parent or guardian.
Surprisingly I have taught more boys than girls. I have worked with students of all levels including one student with Aspergers.
Make sure there is a personality fit, practice and have fun!
Listening to one of my former students who moved into the advanced repertoire perform at my teacher's recital!

I teach only a 45 minute lesson regardless of level. I find that allows time for review, new material, proper technique and theory.
