About Kulton
Kulton Jackson is a vibrant, energetic motivator who's also patient and understanding enough to meet students where they are. With 2 years of full-time teaching under his belt, he knows a little something about educational techniques.
I LOVE kids and I LOVE teaching! I could end it right there, but I'll go even further - I actually LIKE rudimentary math, and I absolutely LOVE music! Not only as a musician, not only as an instructor, but also as a fan/spectator/enthusiast/audience member myself!
I started in college when I would tutor fellow classmates and upperclassmen in Music Theory.
I have a B.S. in Choral Music from Florida A&M University and 2 years of experience as a high school and middle school choral director.

Simply put: Find out what the student's current level is, then take them higher.
My most extensive experience is with college and high school students, then middle school students, with brief experience teaching elementary age kids.
Find a teacher that is PUSHY yet PATIENT! You don't want a teacher who expects nothing from you, but you don't want a teacher who expects WAY too much either.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What SPECIFIC problem do I need solved? What area/sub-area of the subject aren't I understanding? Don't just say you need help in "Music Theory", say "Treble Clef" or "Half Cadences". Don't just say "Algebra", say "polynomials" or "properties".
