About Brynn

I taught music for five summers at my former church as well as private lessons for about two years. I studied on a music and academic scholarship at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ and I have an A.A. in Music, Arts, and Humanities from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at MTSU. I have been singing for over 21 years and playing piano for 17 years. I was named best vocalist in my high school choir and I currently take piano lessons myself as well as sing at a campus ministry at MTSU.

I find joy in helping others develop skills needed to pursue their passions.

The Children's Ministry Director at the church where I grew up offered me an internship to direct the children's Christmas musical for two consecutive years.

My grandmother, an accomplished piano teacher, began teaching me at age six. I started studying voice privately in seventh grade and I began to teach music to children when I was seventeen. I studied at Grand Canyon University on a music scholarship for two semesters and I have an A.A in music from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA.

About the lesson

For piano, I provide curriculum according to the student's level of experience. For voice, I teach the student vocal exercises as well as sight reading and come with song choices based on the student's this website request, allowing the student to choose a song or songs to begin working with.

I have taught children from preschool to eight grade as well as young adults.

Consider whether or not the teacher is a good fit: think about their experience and how they can help you or your child to grow.

One of my favorite projects is leading worship for Vacation Bible School.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Have a basic game plan of where you would like to be taught (in your own home, in a separate classroom, Skype, etc.) as well as any songs or styles of music you might be interested in studying. If you are not sure about the repertoire you would like to work on or the length of the lesson, ask the teacher what he or she would recommend.
