About Lauren
Hello! My name is Lauren and teaching music is my passion. I teach students of many different ages and ability levels, although brand new beginners are my favorites! I have a strong belief that learning music is supposed to be a fun and positive experience and I build personal relationships with all of my students and hope to become a trusted mentor.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Capital University and a Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College. I have 6 years of teaching experience on vocals, piano, violin and ukulele. I specialize in classical/operatic vocal music and helping prep for auditions.
**Due to COVID-19, our lessons will be online via Zoom. I have experience teaching in this manner and find it to be very effective. If you are local, we may be able to explore in home lessons at some point in 2021.
