About Jaelyn
I have been teaching on and off since I was 12. Everyone was always so interested in my playing and wanted to learn from me.
I have been playing the piano for about 12 years. I also have learned to play the flute and sing throughout the years as well.

I would first ask what they already know and love about music. I would then ask them what they would like to get to know! We will choose a plan of attack together based on this information.
I have worked with students around the 7-12 age range. I have also worked with others (like my aunt) who is over 60 years old.
The advice I would give is to try your hardest. I only wished that I gave my all into music when I was younger. There is no pressure to spend every waking moment practicing, but always consider music and prioritize it when needed.
If music for you is just a hobby, I say JUST HAVE FUN. Having too much pressure on you while learning and instrument can never be fun. Do what you can.
I am very fond of going to concerts lately. Because of Covid, concerts have not been very popular. They have recently started it kick back up and I am enjoying it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about where you are with music and where you would like to go with music. Make that very clear to your teachers so you both know the expectations.

I am currently resting on $10 a lesson. I do not want music to be inaccessible because of money.
