About Joseph
I have played piano for over fourteen years and performed for the past six years. I have played and placed in national piano competitions and been featured as a guest artist playing Chopin's piano concerto. I absolutely love playing, performing, and teaching others to play. Between my six years of performance experience and four years of teaching experience, I have a lot of value that I provide to my students. My goal is to spread the love of music to my students and help them to grow in their skill.
I enjoy spreading the joy and love of piano and music to those I teach. I love seeing the excitement on my students' faces when they finally begin to feel mastery over the piece on which we've been working.

When first working with a student, I always take the time to guage their current knowledge of the piano and music. I also talk with them about their goals so I can ensure that I help them reach that goal. I then begin working through basics of the piano and music theory so they can be well rouned. Once they have a firm understanding of the basics, I begin to make practical steps to help them move toward their goals in taking lessons.
I have worked with all different types of students. I have worked with very young children as well as adults.

Details
I typically charge $25 per lesson, sometimes more depending on the distance. This is paid in a lump sum at the beginning of each month.
