About Willa
Hi, I have been teaching private music lessons and classes regularly since 2011. I have a music degree from Iowa State University. I spend most of my time teaching music to students in underserved areas of Kansas City through my non-profit organization "Kansas City Arts Outreach". Each student is unique with different strengths and learning styles. I believe that students have the best experience when I tailor lessons to meet each student's unique set of circumstances. There is no "one size fits all" style of learning. This is what is important to me and has given my students the most success. I look forward to meeting you! You can check out what my non profit does at kcartsoutreach.com to see what I do, besides the individual lessons I offer here at this website. Text for fastest response! Lessons are $20 at my studio, $24 if I travel to you. Text me at (concealed information)
I was asked to teach piano lessons by a musician friend and have been doing it ever since.

I work with students age 6 and up. I work with a wide range of students. I have students that have attention and other learning challenges and students that learn and memorize very quickly. The key is to find the best style for each individual.

She is very knowledgeable about music and instruments. She is kind and works at the child's pace, while encouraging them to reach for goals. She is flexible. My daughter and I are blessed to have found her as an instructor.
She was patient, very knowledgeable, and proficient. She could relate to the children and the children liked her.
She always explains everything shes patience encouraging my granddaughter is always happy when she goes to music class loves showing me what MS Eaton has shown her and what there working
I absolutely LOVE how Ms. Willa adores my children! My boys really look forward to playing for her every week. Ms. Willa is a phenomenal music teacher, and gives great thought to the pieces of music she picks out for my boys. They are excited to learn music and I couldn't be more proud! Thank Ms. Willa for being so wonderful! We consider you to be an important part of our family!!
I enjoy that she teaches my daughter different genres of music. Ms. Eaton is patient with my daughter and provides Apps on her tablet to help her understand the notes and music.
I love piano since I was very young but I couldn't find a good piano teacher till Ms.Willa who is very wonderful and amazing at explaining everything about piano. When I started with her I was 10 now I'm 15 and I'm very good at piano now thanks to her. I've learned very complex music easily because of her and I am thankful to have her as my teacher.
