About Karen

I am a classically trained performer and teacher. I studied at the Eastman School of Music indee the tutalage of a Julliard teacher. I also have a varied background in professional performance, accompanying, and music style. I connect with each student and tailor the material specifically for their needs, personality, and level. I have my own method mixed in with my Julliard teacher's methods for the most success. I make it fun but they also learn thoroughly and correctly.

I enjoy seeing my student succeed, grow, and develop their talent and self esteem.

About the lesson

I evaluate where they are if they are returning from a break. If they are brand new I start with the basics and work on that for the first 6-8 weeks. When they gave a firm base of knowledge then I fan out the program for their individual needs and wants.
