About Lisa
I started teaching privately while I was still in college, for a piano pedagogy class. I was assigned to work with a 4-year-old girl. Her mom was so pleased with her progress that she paid me to continue working with her daughter until I graduated.
I have both bachelor's and master's degrees in music education, with piano as my primary instrument.

I provide 15 minute trial lesson to make sure this will be a good fit for both student and teacher.
I have worked with students aged 3-93. I hold a PA teaching certificate and teach full time at a performing arts school, working with students of a variety of abilities and learning styles. I also have directed a choir at a retirement community for 14 years, working with seniors of different levels of physical and mental health.
Discuss with a teacher what your goals are in regards to studying music. Do you want to play a particular style, play by ear, read music, etc.?
