About
Hi there! I love seeing students succeed. I’ve taught many people from toddlers to adults, and it’s one of my favorite things on the planet.
I’ve been teaching piano since I was a teenager. In fact, I taught a piano class at my school a few years before I graduated high school. Currently, I have a music degree and teach piano for a small local college in Crown Point.
No two students are the same. They are each a challenge in their own way, and they each have their own reasons. I enjoy figuring out what works and doesn’t work for each of my students.
Church music is my specialty, though my foundation is in classical. So I’m well rounded in both sight reading and improvisation.
