About Kaila
MyMusic.Lessons is a place where students can grow in their God-given talents and abilities! Music has been such an important part of my life from the time I started band in 5th grade until now, after college experience at the University of Mount Union! I have worked for many different music companies, and I have taught piano and voice for a while
A few people were asking me to help them when they saw the level of knowledge I obtained.
I have been in band all four years of high school, and I received the John Phillip Sousa Award along with the Dean Martin Scholarship. I received many scholarships from different colleges, and I chose to attend the University of Mount Union. There, I studied musical theory, musicianship, vocal technique, and I played in their jazz, marching, and wind Ensembles.

The first thing I look to build is their confidence. Many students, due to past experiences, lack this-unfortunately. However, the moment we start to build this together, they start to become open in their gifts and start growing tremendously.
I have worked with all ages and all different types. The youngest I've taught was 5, and the oldest I taught was 56.
Try out just one lesson, and see if it is for you! Don't just choose one teacher right away, try them all and see which one fits your style of learning!
I love being the music and choir director at my church.
