About Mandy
Piano Studio in New Castle welcoming new students
Mandy Patterson has a Masters in piano performance, Bachelors in piano pedagogy (methodology of teaching), is a member of MTNA (Music Teacher National Association), a presenter at the MTNA national conference, a Kindermusik educator and Harmony Road educator
Over ten years of music/piano teaching throughout the States. Taught children music and piano classes/lessons at K-12 Schools. Taught adults piano lessons at universities
Many students pass distinction on ABRSM exam.
My biggest fun to work with children is they always bring the greatest questions and ideas that inspire the next project assignment.
Practice can be a very boring and unhappy experience. However, if teacher can show a better way to practice, it can be very easily achievable and rewarding. Each student is unique. That's why teacher should customize lesson approach and teaching material to accommodate different needs and levels.
