I worked with Will for a 6 month period, over which my understanding of piano technique, jazz theory, and musicianship all developed greatly. Will is an incredibly humble and supportive teacher, while sporting all of the wealth of knowledge to provide inspiration every lesson and help explore whatever questions came up over the course of our study. He was particularly good at managing the balance between self-directed study to pursue personal interests while also providing the necessary pre-requisites and surrounding knowledge to facilitate effect development.

Will is an excellent teacher. He has been very nice and super accommodating about any anxieties I had about playing. I have made a lot of progress from our lessons and it has been a very good experience.

Will is an excellent communicator, encouraging, enthusiastic and very knowledgble. Resuming piano lessons after many years, he has tailored instruction to my skill level making it fun and challenging. I've learned a great deal about jazz piano and progressed beyond my expectations.
