About Sarah
The lessons are taught by an active concert artist and a master teacher who holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano performance. All ages and levels welcome, especially, advanced students preparing for auditions, competeitions etc.
It gives me a tremendous joy to see students learn to appreciate music and enjoy playing piano to make music. It really is a pleasure to discuss and discover about music and piano with my students.
I was at a New York Manhattan School of Music and parents asked me to teach their children.
I have a doctoral degree in Piano performance, both Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from prestige New York conservatory, Manhattan School of Music. I also am an active concert pianist for solo recitals and chamber music concerts.

First, getting to know each other. And then decide a goal of learning to play piano and then start to work.
All ages and levels, really. But for several years now, my studio has more advanced, older students and adult students than young, begining students.
I would recommend that a teacher with a clear sturcture of a lesson usually benefits students more and accelerate progress in general.
One of my advanced student made an excellent recording for his college application. I was very proud and touched by his performance.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would say that a student should think about his/her goal in piano learning. For example, one would want to learn to read music well and be able to piano well. Or one could want to emphasize in learning to understand and have a bettter musicianship. Also, a student should decide whether they can commit themselves in piano learning to practice and take lessons seriously.
