It greatly depends on the individual student, their experience and goals certainly play a big part in creating a plan.
It is a combination of the teacher knowing what they are doing and good 'chemistry'. I've had many teachers, with some I clicked and others I didn't. I learned from all of them but I learned the most from those with whom I clicked. Best of luck of finding the best combination for you!
Watching my student blossom from being timid to singing out in front of an audience and loving it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Know what you want. Do you want to be able to sing and not get vocally exhausted? Do you want someone to help you learn a song to perform at your friend's wedding, next week? If you know what you want and communicate it, then your teacher can adjust how they teach to match your needs.

Professional and she knows what she teaches. she has a good ear
Evangelia was very sweet when interacting with our two children 13 and 10.
That she is very friendly, fun and guiding. She is very knowledgeable about what she is teaching. She pushes and encourages me to reach limits I never thought I could reach.
