About Bonnie
As a remote sesison player and perfomer with a degree in perfomance, I have the unique combination of knowledge in technique, music theory, improvisation, composing, and recording.
A little about my background:
My Bachelor's is in Violin Performance, but studied Viola, Cello, and Piano as well.
I have performaced for corporate events like Noor Iranian Film Festival (NIFF) and LA Fashion Week, Music festivals like Bombay Beach Biennale and
I record for film (Paramount Pictures "Gemini Man", HBO's "Virtuoso" created by Elton Jon and Netflix "The "Ridiculous 6" an Adam Sandler film), TV shows (DreamWorks "Spirit," Hulu's "Freakish," and Discovery Channel's "Alaskan Bush People."), and video games ( "Dragon Drop," "Rupert and Riley," and "Age of Blood"). I perform for R&B, Rock, Indie, Funk, Jazz bands across Los Angeles.
I have a minor in Jazz and I enjoys improvising and performing with jazz chamber groups every chance I can get.
I love getting to see my students grow in their interests whether that be in classical music training, composition, recording techniques, or simply exploring a hobby that is engaging and theapeutic.
Everyone has the incredible capacity to love and to create. It is my passion to cultivate this in every student. My philosophy is for us to take a journey together that ultimately leaves both student and teacher as peers, better musicians, and better people.
