About Dr David
I teach jazz and blues piano chords and voicing, improvisation, a variety of styles which also spill over into contemporary, gospel and show tunes.
I also teach classical piano including technique, interpretation and practice techniques.
I've worked 20 years at the Swain Studios of Evanston adapting Alan Swain's chording methods to help students automatically see, feel, hear and know chords on the piano as they react to each chord symbol. I also teach piano and music at Triton College and the College of Lake County.
