About Aaron

As a musician of over 25 years, I have regularly performed and instructed music. I grew up in a musical family, having been surrounded with all kinds of musical tastes and instruments. My dad made an album with Bob Seger. My brother helped write a song that made it into a hollywood movie. Some of my closest friends are nationally syndicated musical artists. This just goes to show the kinds of musicians I surrounded myself with.

My experiences with music began with piano and expanded into other instruments such as guitar, bass guitar, piano, and singing. This also grew into other genres of music having played rock, classical, contemporary, theatre, formal, religious, and other forms of music over the years. My mainstay experience is in Christian Praise and Worship music where I have spent well over 15 years playing and performing in both large scale and small scale settings. I have also won distinguished awards in my youth for musical performance and have also composed my own music (written and recorded).

Furthermore, my musical experience brings with it a passion to see others develop their own interest in music and strive to find their "voice" in music. Music helps bring creativity to an individual's life and is a wonderful form of stress relief and enjoyment. Beyond that, learning music exercises your brain in its ability to grasp new concepts and develop a new skill.

Consider becoming a student today and start learning an instrument such as piano, singing, or drumming.

I will generally review their exposure to music and their knowledge of music in general. This process does not take very long but it gives me an idea of who I am working with. I also dive into the goals and interests of the individual in learning their chosen instrument. Beyond that, we begin with basic concepts and provide simple and easy exercises for beginners, or we may see where there skill is at if they are a bit more intermediate by having them play a song they like to play if they know any.
