About Leslie
Having studied piano since 3rd grade, I take on beginner students and give them a foundation to build upon. That foundation includes learning notes, rhythm, theory, and listening skills to build upon as students continue in their musical study, whether in piano or in other areas.
Music touches the soul in deep ways and is a universal language we all can understand and enjoy. I love seeing the light in students' eyes when they discover that language in music and gain the ability and skill to communicate the language of the soul.
I have studied privately for the last 20 years with excellent teachers, learning from them not just how to make music, but also how to transfer that knowledge to others in a private instruction setting.

Since I take on beginners mainly, I start out on the low end. $20 for 30 minute lessons for the first child. If a family would like to take lessons, I charge $15 for 30 minutes for any subsequent children.
