About Monique
Hello! My name is Monique, and I am a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching students of all ages. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with learners from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as adult students, in a variety of subjects and settings. My journey in education has been diverse, rewarding, and deeply fulfilling. My Teaching Experience: Substitute Teacher (Grades K-12): As a substitute teacher with Teachers on Call, I have worked in classrooms across all grade levels, from elementary to high school. This role has allowed me to adapt to different teaching environments, manage diverse classrooms, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students at various developmental stages. Whether it’s helping young learners with basic math and reading or guiding high school students through complex science concepts, I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment for every student. Tutoring and Mentoring: I have provided one-on-one and small-group tutoring to students in subjects ranging from biology and public health to math and English. My approach is patient, personalized, and focused on building confidence and understanding. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I am committed to helping them unlock that potential.
