About Jenna

I will be helping to tutor some of my favorite subjects that I am incredibly passionate about, among those being psychology and history. I have taken AP psychology and AP US history both of which I scored very high. I am passionate about law and have taken multiple classes. I am currently a double major in psychology and history at GVSU

I’ve been babysitting for many years and I have always added an educational element, along with younger kids, I pride myself on being one that people could always turn to in my classes for help and I love sharing my passion and knowledge

I graduated highschool with a high GPA of 3.8, an SAT score of 1200, I have taken multiple AP courses and was dual enrolled in a college level sociology class. I scored a 5 on AP Psychology which is the highest possible score. I also scored a 4 on my AP US History exam.

About the lesson

We will go over the work they have and if it was say psychology, will break down bits and pieces and go deeper into the theories. I am not just about understanding the problem, but teaching the tools necessary to understand and do the work in the future so they fully grasp the subject.

I’ve worked with students aged 4-17 of all learning types and abilities, I have found different learning styles that suit them.

A friend of mine recently had a big US history midterm approaching, and was not understanding the material they were taught. I spent 45 minutes going over the Era they were being tested on, and they next day they scored a 94 on the exam.
