About Katie
Students learn best when they feel safe to make mistakes and when they are supported with positivity. I strive to create hands-on activities that are based on proven methods.
The best part of teaching for me is when struggling students realize they can do it!
I love when a student feels good about herself or himself and you can see their eyes light up with new confidence.
I have a Masters degree in Education with a focus on learning disabilities. I also have experience as both a special education teacher and as a classroom teacher.
