About Connor
I love working with children and helping them grow a passion for learning. I also love the "aha" moments when they really get something they were struggling with.
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I consistently babysat and taught Sunday school. Once I graduated high school, I went to college and got my teaching certificate.
I have a Bachelors degree in early childhood education. Multiple years of experience working with children. I've been a 1st grade teacher for three years. I have also very successfully tutored several students. I have been very successful in helping kids go from being unable to read to reading fluently. I am trained in several phonics programs including Spalding and Fundations.

I love to first get to know my new students. Start with basic skills and conversations that allow me to see where my students are both in their learning and personality wise. Once I have a good idea, I can begin to build activities and such that are beneficial to their learning.
I have worked with a very wide range of students including those with intellectual delays. I have worked with multiple home school students as well.

My standard price is 40 a lesson if I come to you and 35 a lesson if you come to me. This process can be negotiated based on the number of lessons per week.
