About Isaac
A bit about me: When I was preparing for the SAT, I found it very difficult, until I began working with a tutor. After working with two tutors over the course of a year, my score increased several hundred points and I eventually scored a 2320 out of 2400, or a 99th percentile score.
Not long after, I made my way to Ithaca, where I've been ever since. I just recently received my B.S. from Cornell, specializing in UX Design & Research, with a minor in Psychology.
Now, I look to pass on the knowledge and experience I've gained to other similarly determined students. Though I'm just getting started on this website, I have previous experience with paid SAT tutoring with several students in my hometown. I also have teaching and tutoring experience in other subjects such as French, Math, and introductory programming, working with students in grades 3-12.
And yes, that's me in the photo!
I most enjoy those moments when a student notices their own progress and can be proud of what they've done. When both the student and I have put in a lot of work and effort, seeing a positive impact on their performance is very rewarding for both of us.
In addition to my Cornell B.S. degree and previous test-prep tutoring experience, I have also taught at an extracurricular STEM program for elementary-to-middle-school-aged children. As part of this program, I taught several programming courses for classes of up to 25 students.

I offer a free 45 minute video consultation, where I can learn about what you're looking to get out of tutoring, and where I can share a bit about my teaching process and philosophy. I also address any questions or concerns from parents/guardians. Based on that first meeting, we can then decide if we're a good fit for each other.
