About Mish
Playing saxophone since '01 and regular performer in SF. Engineer with Master's degree. My teaching approach is deep, fun, and simple. I use structured styles of learning and practice. You are a serious student who wants to develop skills rapidly. I can teach you how to improvise effortlessly with any instrument over any song.
Playing music is a joyful experience. Sharing that joy with others through teaching is incredibly rewarding. I look forward to sharing it with you.

I offer structured learning approaches, habits, workflows, methods of organizing your time, and work best with students who are serious about developing their skills rapidly. You tell me what you want to learn and I'll show you the easiest way to go about it.

Don't waste your money if you are not prepared to put in work and dedicate yourself to learning. If you are a beginner, it's most important to find an instructor who's teaching style matches your learning style. You have much to learn at the beginning and most teachers can provide it to you. To learn effectively takes someone who understands you best. Most importantly, it takes practice and patience.

My sessions are costly because you don't need many of them. You are someone who understands that practice is what's required to make progress and the real cost of learning is the effort you put into it not how many lessons you take.
