About Usman
I am a passionate and dedicated science teacher with a background in both education and healthcare. Having taught science across secondary school levels, I understand the challenges students face and enjoy helping them overcome barriers to learning. My healthcare experience has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills, allowing me to support students with empathy, patience, and adaptability. I take pride in tailoring my approach to each learner, whether that means stretching high achievers or providing extra guidance for those who need it. I ensure that every learner has the opportunity to succeed. Outside of teaching, I am naturally curious and enjoy exploring how science applies to everyday life something I often bring into lessons to make learning more engaging and relevant.

I offer engaging and supportive science lessons tailored to the needs of each individual learner. With a strong background in teaching science at secondary school level, I am confident in breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps that build both knowledge and confidence. My experience in healthcare has further developed my ability to connect with learners from all backgrounds, adapt my teaching style, and make learning relevant to real world contexts. I believe every student learns differently, so I use a variety of methods and resources to meet their unique needs and learning styles. I have worked extensively with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring lessons are inclusive, accessible, and paced appropriately.
