About Sunny
Being a sexual abuse survivor, I am passionate about educating today's youth and their parents with the best practices for self defense and abuse prevention. And of course, safety awareness can't stop with our youth, so I also offer classes for women of all ages.
I graduated from Saint Joseph's College of Maine with majors in both Human Growth & Development and Education. After over 15 years of working in the finance and insurance industries, I am happy to be putting my college education to use again!
I have participated in numerous trainings through Damsel in Defense and the National Security Alliance. I am passionate about continuing my education to bring my students the latest in safety awareness and self defense as society and predatory practices unfortunately continue to evolve. The best news is that 90% of self defense is awareness, so no matter your size, shape or age I can teach you how to avoid becoming a victim.
