About Austin
I am a Marine Corps a infantry veteran and USPSA competitive shooter. I have contracted overseas in Afghanistan as well as served in humanitarian missions in south east Africa. My passion is firearms, primarily pistol performance, and it is my dream to wake up everyday and instruct others in firearms saftey and training!
I bring the best of both worlds, someone from a "tactical" background to someone who has switched to a "practical" application for shooting due to the speed and precision needed for competition.
I record all sessions with students, and have a catalog of shooters young and old that I have successful built from the ground up!
I hate the over the top cameo of a typical instructor. I'm fun, laid back, relaxed (don't confuse that with not safe!). Because firearms should be fun, not a stress!

I enjoy taking people to the next level in performance. It's simple, success of challenging tasks brings the reward of fulfillment. Firearms can be extremely intimidating, and there is a lot of pseudo nonsense out there. By teaching people to practically shoot and steer them away from the pitfalls of platues, I make someone else better and a more responsibly armed citizen.
We only get one life, it's best to use it serving others.
