About Valencia
As the highest-ranked woman self-defense practitioner in the Combat Kuntao, Int'l, organization, Combat Kuntao is known for its work with the Abu Dubai Police Department, Panana Special Police Department, FBI SSG, military Special Ops units, law enforcement, and civilians.
All techniques taught are based on realistic self-defense applicable to street fighting.
I teach because I believe people - especially women - should be able to effectively defend theirselves against a predator. Involved in the martial arts for over 20 years, I love to see people grow and transform from low confidence, lack of self-control, anger issues, etc. to enhanced confidence, improved emotional self-control, better management of anger, and more! Coupled with learning how to realistically guard their personal safety.
Currently working on "master" title (now a 4th degree Blackbelt); inductee into World Head of Family Sokeship Council Int'l Hall of Fame as National Instructor of the Year (2019) and the Paumbuan Arnis Organization as Instructor of The Year (2017)
Innovator of youth martial and fitness program (Little Cubs), women's self-defense workshop (Predator ... Beware!), and more.
Published author and guest presenter for government, private, and public organizations on personal safety.

Help to make them feel comfortable that the training is safe, taught to their skill level, taught at a reasonable pace, and inform new clients that I have a background check that is maintained via the MD Dept. of Health & Hygience (because I work with a private school that requires active background checks).
