About Bridget
Patience with new students with the ability to hear their concerns in order to address their goals in a timely non stressing environment.
Pride and joy in aiding the student to stretch and gain confidence.
Helping theater productions in costuming I found many actors wanted to create their own costumes but didn't have access to machines and materials. I started to host day long events to make a single garment for groups.
I also taught for several quilt guilds I belonged. Techniques that I had learned from workshops I could share with others.

Find out the goals and results the student is wanting to achieve. Work on an achievable timeline and discuss the numerous paths to be taken.
I will teach children aged 7 and older induvidually to keep their attention.
Quilters in groups of 20
Girl Scouting parents and leaders who are new to their sewing machines helping them get started.
New grandparents who want to make their grandchildren quilts.
Look for someone open to your goals. If you know specifically what you desire to make you need someone who can take you there without unnecessary detours.
Road to CA quilt show. The largest west coast quilt show. I've worked at this show for over 20 years handling the winning quilts is fascinating as well as an honor.

Details
$60 an hour for lessons using my machines and materials if I travel to the student. Second hour is $20. I won't do more than 2 hours in a single day because it applies too much pressure for the new student to recall.
$55 an hour for lessons when the students comes to me and use my machines and materials.
$50 an hour for lessons at my home if the student brings their own machine.
