About Aliya
Hi, I'm Aliya! I am a final-year BSc Psychology with Criminology student at Keele University with four years of proven experience in the tutoring industry. Since 2022, I have worked as an online and in-person tutor for platforms like Varsity Tutors, and Coach Bright, helping primary and GCSE-level students unlock their academic potential.
Having achieved top grades in my own GCSEs—including a 7 in English Language and a 6 in Mathematics—I know exactly what examiners look for. My psychology background enables me to design lessons centred around effective cognitive learning techniques, helping students retain information better and approach exams with confidence. I am also fluent in Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, making me highly adaptable to bilingual households.

Perfect! Easy to get along with, put my daughter at ease straight away - efficient and understanding - really pleased with our first lesson.
- English comprehension is definitely a strength, SPAG needs work - will do this by creative writing exercises, math also needs work and i will do this by using practice papers for questions and explaining to her what the best way is to solve them.Aliya's response :
