About Hareena
My teaching journey has been both varied and fulfilling, traversing diverse educational environments. Serving as a pre-school teacher at Smart Readers, my focus was on laying the groundwork for young learners, creating an environment that fostered cognitive, social, and language development through engaging activities. Transitioning to Dignity for Children Foundation, I assumed the role of a primary school teacher, expanding my responsibilities to cover a broader spectrum of subjects. Here, I embraced a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of my students while cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment. During my internship at Wesley Methodist, I gained valuable experience in a formal educational institution, collaborating with seasoned educators and refining my skills in lesson planning and classroom management. Additionally, my voluntary teaching experience for nine months with refugee students enriched my perspective, requiring adaptability to varied linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Collectively, these experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy, emphasizing adaptability, inclusivity, and a passion for fostering a love of learning in every student.
