About Aimee
I already have experience in tutoring online throughout university therefore I understand that a personalised approach to learning is the best. Just reading notes is not enough for some people. I go into my lessons well prepared with exam practice questions ready to test the student (with my guidance to ensure that they are doing the questions correctly) as I find that this is the best way to ensure that students remember information from their course but if this is not appropriate, due to my own experience in these subjects, I am equipped to cater to the student as necessary. I would like to offer tutoring for students studying at GCSE, National 5 or Higher level. My time at the University of Edinburgh and my own studies well equips me for this role. A typical lesson time would be one hour however, I also offer 45 minutes and a longer time if necessary.

I am an experienced tutor studying my undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh. I am passionate about the subjects I tutor in and want my pupils to gain a great enjoyment and understanding of these subjects as this is key to achieving great grades. At school I loved Politics and Modern Studies, however, I found the content sometimes difficult to remember. With the right support from my own tutors I excelled in the subject. This inspired me to continue my studies, studying Politics and Social Policy MA at Edinburgh University.

Aimee supported my son with his studies recently she has been great, reliable is very knowledgeable. Loved the fact she’s travelled so used skills in the real world to which gives her extra credibility. Warm & friendly - defo recommend using her services
Really easy to talk to and ask questions. nows loads.
Great intuitive tutor who made things really easily digestable for me when I was struggling with my nat 5 history and helped me smash it and get an A!
Aimee is approachable and easy to communicate with. She has a lovely, natural way of speaking to my daughter, who does need to have details explained several times in a calm and understanding/understood manner. We were lucky to find her.
