About Joe
Adult Specific Learn to Swim Program
Sacswim4life is brought to you by instructor Joe Dowd. Joe has been working with adults since 1987. He has the care and compassion you have been looking for in an instructor.
I am an old school Red Cross Water Safety Instructor from the 80's. I teach swimming the way it was taught before "water proofing" and
"philosophy" became buzz words to sell you on a particular "method" of learning to swim.
My goal is to make swimming a part of your life for better health and happiness.
My older sister worked at the swimming pool.
30 years teaching.

The pool at Burger is inside, private, little, quiet and 92 degrees.
The perfect place to learn to swim!
I have worked with all types of students.
Specializing in your needs, Amputees, Sight impaired. Childhood trauma. Physical limitations.
How warm is the water? My pool is 92 degrees!
I enjoy every night of teaching. Getting a student comfortable in deep water is a great feeling.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask the instructor why he/she is teaching? For the money? For the love of the sport?
