About Laurie
I can teach ANY age group. I have plenty of experience from mommy-and-me classes to teaching adults how to swim. I am also a certified lifeguard (CPR, AED and First Aid certified). I have all my background check clearences as well (done through YMCA).
I'm teaching a LIFE SKILL! I believe, along with swim strokes, with regular lessons, what I consider the most important parts of swimming....treading water and back float. Two skills that can be a life saver 🏊🐋. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE! Interestingly enough, a lot of people are strong swimmers but have no idea how to just tread water 🤷
