About Jadyn
My service stands out because I listen. In the 14 years of swimming, I have experienced the struggles and I will always be that instructor to listen to my student's concerns. I know that encouragement tremedously helps in the teaching process and it's only fair that I give that to my student. I am very interactive, social and I try to find different ways to explain a technique from a different lens inorder for my student to understand. At the end of the day, I want my student to finish the session with a feeling of accomplishment.
I love seeing the smiles of students' faces when they accomplished even the slightest thing and that reaction is definitely worth it.
I started teaching after a teammate brought the Waterproofing Program to my attention as a way to earn community service hours. Ever since, I have fallen in love with teaching others the skill that I have been growing for 14 years.
I have been volunteering to teach kids how to swim at the Stanley Issac's Waterproofing program for about 3 years. Recently, I became an instructor at a start up volunteer organization: First Strokes Ltd. It's purpose is to teach high students how to swim. I have had experience with both adolescents and children.

I always will always ask if they are comfortable completing a task I suggest. Encouragement and acknowledgment of the student's progress is very important to me.
I have worked with students roughly within the ages of 6-15.
Trust the process. If swimming is something that you are trying for the first time or want to get more practice in, you need to trust the process. Swimming is difficult but that doesn't mean you aren't able to have fun.
