About Ellianna
As someone who started swimming at a young age and completed 9 years of swim team, my lessons and instruction are based on experience and firsthand knowledge. I taught as a swim coach at the YMCA for over a year, and quickly became a swim coach for their pre-team group because of my desire to help skilled kids reach their full potential. I've worked with kids from age 3 who have barely touched a pool before, to kids aged 14 who can swim all 4 strokes and just require advice and technique refining.
I've always loved everything about working with kids, whether through the multiple VBS camps I volunteered at, AWANA program I volunteered for, swim lessons I instructed, or Sunday school I taught. I'm currently working towords my degree in Early and Special Education, so I can further pursue my desire for helping children grow. As an ex-swim team kid and district qualifier myself, swimming has quickly become both a skill and a passion. Swimming is, and has always been, one of my favorite sports and hobby's. This is true whether I'm coaching kids, swimming laps, working with my little brother, teaching lessons, or lifegaurding.
