About Melissa
I personalize each swim lesson to the child's needs. I work with each child on their level to help best communicate their needs and to provide guidance where needed. I have been doing this for 5 years and have loved every minute of it
I started at a swim school where it was so structured that each student would end up repeating levels constantly and I was unable to specialize each lesson to help them better. I decided that that is not what I wanted to do.
I am Angelfish certified, life guard certified, cpr/aed/first aid certified, SCUBA certified,

I evaluate the current level of the student and then develop a plan specifically for that student. I figure out where the student wants to be and wants to accomplish and we set goals.
Every kind you can imagine!
Find someone that is willing to work with you to develop what you need not what they want to do
In 6 one hour classes, I took a student who could not blow bubbles to developing front crawl
