About Jen
Hi, I'm a recent college graduate and I love working with kids. I graduated high school with a 4.0 and 34 ACT score so I know some tips that will help with the ACT. My strong area is math, so if you have a student that needs help with any math ranging from basic math up to high school calculus, I can help out.
I'm also a lisenced Water Safety Instructor or swim instructor. I work part time at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center as a group and private swim instructor.

I first started teaching when I was 15 years old as a swim instructor at my local pool. I have been teaching swim lessons since. I also started to assist in teaching preschool 2 years ago.
I am a college freshman and I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and a 34 ACT score. I love school and have excelled at multiple AP and college level courses. I also have experience working with children of varying ages through daycare and preschool.
In addition, I am a part time swim instructor at Kearns Oquirrh Parks Fitness Center where I have worked for the past 5 years

I like to get to know them a little first. The first lesson/ tutoring session would start off with a brief introduction. And throughout the sessions, I would get to know the student more and more by learning their interests and passions.
Find a teacher you find easy to talk to and one you are comfortable around. Sometimes personal ultra and teaching styles just don't work between the teacher and student and that's okay! There's lots of different teachers out there with different teaching styles and personalities. Don't settle until you find one that's a good fit!

Details
Tutoring varies from $10-$40 per session and sessions would last for half an hour to an hour depending on their wishes of the customer.
For swim lessons, semi privates will be $10 per kid per 30 minute session. For privates, lessons will be $13 per kid per session.
