About Swimlessonswithamandacom
Private swimming lessons provide students the individual attention that they would not otherwise receive in group lessons -- resulting in faster learning and stronger stroke development. Private lessons allow me to create lessons plans that are unique to each learner.
I love seeing students hit new milestones and overcoming challenges. My favorite part is when they come to love swimming!
I have always loved to swim and began my Lifeguarding career at 15 years old.
I have been teaching swim lessons for over 5 years. I am a Red Cross certified lifeguard and swim instructor.

I will do a swim test and evaluate their current level. I always make an effort to get to know my students and make them feel comfortable around me.
I have worked with all types of students! Students as young as babies to adults. I have also taught students with disabilities.
Make sure you find someone who knows how to make learning fun - because swimming should be fun!
I had a student with serve anxiety and they were afraid of the water -- after a few lessons, they were able to put their head underwater. It was such a rewarding moment for the parent, the swimmer, and myself.
